Paired, dramatically marbled basal leaves of black-green and light green undergird tall stems of rose-purple nodding flowers with recurved petals — exquisite. They make their appearance in mid-spring when they'd like moisture, but by summer, dry soil is the order of the day. They are not particular about soil type as long as it drains reasonably well. Seed grown.
It's imperative that Erythronium are kept evenly moist and not allowed to desiccate. We will not be responsible for replacements due to neglect. Each pot is checked for viable bulbs before leaving the nursery.
Erythronium are available for shipping from July 1 - March 31.
