Deep burgundy foliage is margined each spring with bright, almost candy-colored pink with intonations of cream and purple. The strong pink variegation softens with the heat of summer toward more cream. Upright form with a rounded crown.
Synonymous with 'Roseomarginata' and sometimes offered as just 'Tricolor'. Whatever the name, the glowing effect of the foliage is beautiful.
Slow growth rate for the first few years. Best pruned in late winter (if necessary).
