A stately, towering perennial, its stalks rise to 7 feet tall or more! Brilliant, yellow-green umbels and thread-like leaves that turn golden in fall make this is a landmark that WILL be noticed! Shelter from high winds, best with some summer water; drought might trigger dormancy.

Please choose a shipping date between November 1 and March 1.  This plant must be shipped while dormant.  The foliage is too delicate to survive the shipping process.

Only for ornamental use. Despite its common name, this is NOT culinary fennel.

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
