Twelve-inch, pendent, pink-tinged cream tassels or chains festoon the shrub in mid to late winter on this trouble-free broadleaf evergreen shrub, Named for Pat Ballard of Issaquah in whose garden it was found, it's a cross between G. elliptica and G. fremontii. Relatively rare.
