Long-blooming, star-shaped white flowers with a pink picotee bloom June to September. Their long slender stems form a delicate airy clump. A well-behaved cultivar of the Texan roadside Gaura, this has excellent drought-tolerance. Well-draining soil is preferred but it does accommodate most soil types. There is almost nothing prettier than a Gaura with butterflies on the blossoms—like butterflies on butterflies.
