Forming pretty mounds, small yellow glowing flowers with bright green rounded bracts grace the woodland garden in late winter (early spring). The bracts remain long after the flower proper is gone, looking like green flowers - a long bang for your buck. Unusual and delightful; this is not just any cute face!  Coming from the woodlands of the European Alps, it's every bit as interesting as Edelweiss.

Carefully packed for each plant

Once your order is ready, we bring the plants from our greenhouses into a holding area. Each plant is wrapped by hand and, when needed, staked to protect tender stems. Because our inventory is so diverse, we adjust the packing method for each plant based on its size, type, and stage of growth.

We reuse clean paper and plastic packing materials whenever practical. It is easier on the planet and helps keep shipping costs down for you, too.
