Huge, conical, and pendent panicles of double green and white florets turn dusky pink with age; the textured oak-like leaves become wine-red in fall. This is lovely as a large, lush mound, or gracefully cascading over a wall. Tolerant of so many conditions and always rewarding, even in winter when it gives up its leaves exposing interesting exfoliating bark.
