Bright yellow flowers with a starburst of stamens cover a soft, dense mound of small, oval, blue-gray-green leaves in late spring – mid-summer. It's good in the rock garden or trailing in a container, but do give it water in the heat of summer and cut back after bloom for best performance. It likes to be fairly dry in the winter so if you can place it a bit under an eave (in the NW or the eastern US) where it will also get sun, it will stay the course. From the mountains of Greece, Turkey, and Bulgaria.
