In mid-spring, violet-purple pea blossoms cover this bushy perennial with long, very narrow, elegant leaves. This seldom-offered plant is no plebeian pea, providing unique textural contrast as well as brilliant color. Avoid transplanting as it doesn't like its roots to be disturbed.
