This woody-based perennial produces yellow-green, supple toothed leaves that make for a bright, abundant presence. Geometric, cream-yellow spires emerge in mid- through late autumn. Here's a plant for the late-season garden! Cut it back hard in spring to produce a thick, lush plant. Will scorch with too much sun and/or not enough water.
