10-inch cup-shaped flowers of striking rich rose, are a beacon when in bloom. Elegant in silhouette, this tree is deciduous, erect, open-branched, and narrowly rounded, growing to a height of about 20 feet. Be aware that flowers on young plants show lighter coloration. Like the rest of us, it grows more beautiful with age.
