'Seika' meaning "sacred fire" in Japanese is aptly named given its predominant burgundy-red foliage year round with an infiltration of dark green leaves glowing through. It's dense and small, about 2 – 2.5' tall, with a 2' spread. The more sun, the more red and the more dense. Its natural habit is vase-shaped which gives it a spritely appearance with its narrow, pointed leaves and upward and outward-reaching branches.
