This beguiling gesneriad was collected by Kelly and Sue of Far Reaches Farm on one of their intrepid Asian forays. The specimen was found growing on mossy rocks with Acer griseum and Emmenopterys henryi as companionate plants. The large, swoon-worthy pendant lilac-pink blooms are better than any valentine! Caution: The sight of a specimen bejeweled in flowers can cause whiplash, weak knees, and speechless floral hypnosis.
Wants to be kept wet. Appreciates soil amended with a fast-draining substrate such as fine gravel or perlite.
