This herbaceous peony, found in forested areas of Siberia, China, and Japan, has very early single blossoms range in color from vibrant rose-purple to white and are mildly fragrant. The grey-green leaves are divided into wide oval-elliptic leaflets - unusual. Provide protection from hot afternoon sun.
