A centuries old favorite featuring petals in shades of Venetian-red to mahogany, edged in gold with a golden heart. This primrose evokes a Renaissance painting. The clustered blooms are fragrant and perfect for adding a royal flare to spring bouquets. Grow in moist soil in partial shade. Does beautifully along a shaded path or perhaps alongside a stream. Slugs are an occasional problem for Polyanthus hybrids.
