Forming an expanding mat of glossy, overlapping, rounded succulent leaves with spikes of bright yellow starry flowers in summer, it will find crack or crevice, and grow in sun or even dry part shade. Soil too shallow for deeper-rooted plants (because of tree roots or other issues) is perfect for this sedum. Evergreen leaves blush coppery-orange in winter.
