Native plant with miniature rose-pink to lavender hollyhock-like blooms in late spring to early summer. The deeply incised leaves blend well with meadow grasses. In Oregon, this plant is more commonly found in meadows in Oregon's East-Side meadows at the forest edge in the Steens, Wallowas, West Gorge, and Coast Range. Also, found in SE Washington and Northern to Central California. This plant is a larvae host for several butterfly species.
