In early spring, white starburst flowers bloom among upright, wide, evergreen, lance-shaped leaves (like Lily-of-the-Valley). The plants migrate slowly and politely by rhizome to form a thick carpet. It's native to around 3,000 feet elevation in the Chinese provinces surrounding Shanghai, in east-central China. A rare offering.
