A fountain of leafiness from Jiangsu Province in China: medium to light green elliptic leaves on a multi-trunked large shrub/small tree, Synojackia becomes flocked with white bell-flowers reminiscent of the Japanese snowbell (same family - Styracaceae). Blooms cluster in pendent cymes in May and June to be followed in July and September by pendent woody fruit (xylo–carpa), interesting in their own right. 15–20' T & W
