An aromatic, woody herb for culinary & ornamental use; this Thyme selection has a more upright growth habit. 'Silver Posie' was selected for lovely variegated leaves of grey-green edged in cream. Winter foliage develops a pleasing burgundy cast. Blooms of lavender-pink grace the plant from late spring through early summer. Shear back in spring to limit size, stimulate lush new growth, and limit bare legginess at the base.
