This most ornamental clover has large, magenta-purple, upright, conical blooms opening from purplish silver buds in early to late summer. It attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds! A nitrogen-fixer, it can also break up dense soil, so clay is okay! It's also a great bank cover, preventing erosion. Put succinctly, it's a prolific bloomer and useful, too! Neaten it up with an occasional cutting back.
Mature size: 18 inches T & W, clumping, not traveling.
