Certainly one of the showiest maples our garden has been privileged to grow with tones of reddish-pink and green marbled with white. 25 ft tall in time, it's a somewhat pyramidal tree. The pink leaf undersides show off all at once with each gust of wind! It was discovered as a chance seedling by John Wills at Trelinoe, his garden in the Esk Valley, which is on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
Mature size: 12 ft T x 10 ft W in 10 yrs, ultimately 25 ft T.
