Highly dissected leaves on this lush and mounding, delicate and lacy small tree turn red and gold in fall. Upright when young but with age develops strong horizontal branches. No one would guess it to be a native vine maple.

Named for Warner Monroe, who discovered the special seedling growing in the Willamette National Forest. Lucky us!
