'Fairy Hair', introduced by Talon Buchholz in Gaston, Oregon, has such fine, thread-like leaves as to be mistaken for the hair of a fairy, should you so believe. (Fine + airy = fairy.) In spring, orange-red filamentous leaves turn green in summer, then orange-red again in fall, with red petioles and red branches. This would make an excellent container plant (it's slow-growing), and an unusual bonsai candidate! It's delightful and enchanting, extremely dwarf, and rare.
