Bright blue flower sparklers on sturdy stems up to 18 inches tall. The low-growing, wide, glossy green leaves are evergreen to semi-evergreen in mild climates. Will go winter dormant in areas with cooler winter temperatures. Appreciates afternoon shade in regions with hot summers. Will withstand some periods of drought once established but appreciates some summer water.
