Clusters of vivid, purplish-blue star flowers emerge from purple-black buds in late spring and summer. Golden-yellow fall foliage color makes it valuable in the fall garden, too, especially when planted in a drift.
Best in full sun. Drought-tolerant once established but does its' best with some summer water (~once a week).
