One of the finest large mazanitas for its upright, tree-like form and heavy bloom with pure white flowers. Found by Philip Van Soelen of California Flora Nursery in Sonoma County.
Mature size: 8-12 ft T x 6 ft W
Minimum temperature: 10º F
Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
We have listed it as A. manzanita, but there is some debate about a possible hybrid parent, A. densiflora, somewhere in its lineage. A. densiflora is the subject of much debate currently (~2026), so we'll get back to you in fifteen years or so.
