'Margarita's Joy' has small, rounded, bright green foliage and warm cinnamon bark. Its smaller stature makes it friendly to a wider audience. White flowers in early spring.
A naturally occurring hybrid manzanita introduced by Las Pilitas Nursery with suspected parents A. crustacea, A. osoensis, and A. pechoensis.

Minimum temperature: 10º F
