From the margins of woods and cool mountain slopes of China and Japan, this is a rare selection with very unique cream, yellow, and green pleated leaves in spring. The leaves turn a soft green as the season progresses. The delicate and exotic flower is pink to violet-purple, showing itself in late spring for 3-4 weeks!
