This choice selection of one of the favored eastern N. American natives is small enough to fit in even a pocket-sized garden. Masses of fringe-like, snow-white, lightly fragrant flowers make a delicate, airy flurry that engulfs this dwarf tree in May and June, giving way to small olive-like fruits enjoyed by birds. The leaves on this diminutive form, are smaller than the full-size species, though still create a gold statement piece in autumn.
