'Merlin' does as the name suggests and adds a bit of magic to your garden. The perennial tuber blooms heavily in early spring with white tubular flowers edged in violet. The flowers hover in bursts over whimsical, blue-green, fernlike foliage, reminiscent of bleeding hearts.

Mature size: 10 in T x 12 in W

Minimum Temperature: -20º F

C. solida (bulbous forms) must ship before foliage develops.  Choose a shipping date between June 1 and Febuary 1.  This means the plant CANNOT ship in February, March, April, or May. The foliage of this plant is too delicate to survive shipping while actively growing.   If a shipping date is chosen outside the shipping window the cost will be deducted from your invoice.

NOTE: These are SUMMER DORMANT plants; they dry up and go "to sleep" after they bloom in spring. Other examples of summer dormant plants are Tulips and Daffodils. Do not be alarmed when they disappear with the onset of warm weather days--given proper conditions, they will be back the next spring, bigger and better than before.
