A lovely conclusion to trials at Longwood Gardens: blooming later and longer than other Corylopsis species, the dangling, yellow spring blooms, that flower before the leaves, are redolent of jasmine green tea.  It seems to be better at everything—most colorful in fall and hardiest! An atmospheric, deciduous, open shrub.
