Cyrtanthus breviflorus is a slowly-clumping bulb in the Amaryllidaceae family. It has bright yellow upward-facing flower umbels, and the flowers are gently cupped. The blooms usually rise before the narrow, bright green foliage, if not evergreen in your climate. Native to the Eastern cape of South Africa to Kenya.
Best grown in full sun in well-drained soil. Happily lives in a container.
