Native to high elevations in SW Bulgaria, this little evergreen Daphne is at home in sunny, rocky, dry conditions. Lance-shaped, glossy green leaves adorn a small, rounded, well-branched form. Clusters of pink, elongated flower buds arrive on branch ends in early spring. The blooms give way to very showy orange fruits in early-mid summer.

Some Daphne can be a challenge to grow but well worth the effort. We send out healthy plants but can't be responsible for other cultural requirements that are out of our control.  Plant the rock Daphne in quick-draining soil and do not over-water them. Avoid watering during the heat of the day.
