New fronds are crimped, golden-green that stand out against orange-brown stalks. Once mature, multiple crowns result in a dense, crimpy dome of fronds. The established specimens in our garden have been subjected to bright sun and somewhat dry conditions and have tolerated it well. Who knows what it might do with part shade and plenty of water. UK native.
