New growth emerges beet-root red. Saturated 2-inch indigo flowers bloom over early- season bronze dissected leaves. Foliage ages to dark green with a maroon edge. Easy to grow, tolerant of dry summers and poor soil. Foliage maintains darker color with more shade. Flowers appear to be color shifters depending on the light!
