Forming pretty mounds, small yellow glowing flowers with bright green rounded bracts grace the woodland garden in late winter (early spring). The bracts remain long after the flower proper is gone, looking like green flowers — a long bang for your buck. Unusual and delightful; this is not just any cute face! Coming from the woodlands of the European Alps, it's every bit as interesting as Edelweiss.
