Soft purple 5-8-inch racemes bloom above the glossy green, spear-shaped leaves. Enjoys sun to part shade. Our garden specimen was planted out as a hardiness test for the hybrid and it has survived the last three winters (2021-2023) in the ground and looks beautiful! Our 2023 winter had a winter storm with icy snow lasting for days and temperatures down to 13° F and it did bot show any signs of frost damage at all!
