From the Balkans, this is a species dwarf bearded iris with soft lemon-yellow flowers sailing above sage-green sickle-shaped leaves. Stout stalks are only 2 – 3 inches tall with flowers about 2 inches across. Perfect for moist but well-draining conditions in a rock garden.
