An evergreen climbing shrub from the temperate forests of SE China. Cream to pale yellow flowers, with a bright red center, are followed by aggregate fruit on female plants. This plant is monoecious, so both male and female plants are needed to bear fruit.
Best grown in a protected site with part shade, regular moisture, and rich, slightly acidic soil.
