This burgundy-stemmed dwarf lily has large, long, burgundy flower buds that break into fragrant white trumpets enlivened by pink and burgundy exterior streaks, and a yellow-green throat! Narrow, strappy leaves form a basal clump. Well-drained soil preferred, after all it is an alpine from the mountains of Taiwan (formerly Formosa). Imagine coming upon them on a mountainside! The rock garden would be a pretty good simulation of their native environment. 10-12"T x 8-10" W. August – September bloom.
