Western North American native honeysuckle with slightly scented trumpets in shades of bright baby pink to white with long showy yellow stamens. Late summer brings rich, deep red berries which are as much a feast for our eyes as they are for the local bird community.
Best grown in part sun, where its roots can be cool and shaded but foliage can climb for light. Drought-tolerant once established, but grows best with regular summer water.
