While tender in our area, this is a stunner for sure! Large translucent blue potato-like blossoms with yellow centers decorate a backdrop of strikingly variegated slightly waving acuminate leaves. A medium to large fast-growing upright shrub from Argentina, that can grow up to 10 ft tall in its preferred climate. But it loves pruning and can be kept smaller or in a pot to drag in in the winter as we do--worth the work! In milder climates blooms continuously, but we see them spring to summer. Blooms can be fragrant en masse.
Plant in full to part sun, with good drainage, and keep well-fertilized for best displays.
