A West Himalayan (Afghanistan, and northwest India) sub-alpine bulb with springtime blooms of soft pink to buff-lavender trumpet-like flowers with recurved, narrowly spoon-shaped petals ascending on a stout stalk. After flowering, the blooming bulb dies and basal bulblets produce the new growth for the next season, reminiscent of a Cardiocrinum... though short and pink.
