An opulent cluster of lacy flowers top upright stems above large, lush, scalloped leaves in spring. The flowers are lavender-rose on the face with white streaking and darker violet-rose on the reverse. The reverse does show and the mix of colors is delightful. Native to Japan. No lime, please, for these woodlanders.

This plant will go summer dormant.
