Winter hardy and early flowering — February through May — this Primula in blue to purple shades, is very vigorous and well-suited for a pot. Compact, decorative lower foliage, deep green to purplish, further enriches this early spring garden ingredient. Full sun in cool areas is accepted with sufficient irrigation but prefers shade.
