An eastern North American native plant with attractive, broad, silver bracts that hold circular white flower clusters in midsummer. The form is upright, and the foliage is blue-green and pointed. This is a serious pollinator power plant! A member of the mint family, its aromatic foliage makes it resistant to browsers; it will spread to form a large clump, though not as vigorously (and terrifyingly) as some of its relatives. Makes an excellent cut-flower.
Best grown in sun or partial shade with regular water.
Mature size: 1-3 ft T x 3-4 W, spreads via rhizome
