A charcoal-black calyx ensconces deep purple-blue, double-lipped flowers for an elegant, romantic combination. Its deep, dark, saturated color is exhilarating against its light green leaves! Reliably hardy and sturdy. Hummers will salivate for this Salvia.

For best results, plant in spring to allow plenty of time for roots to establish before winter. Leaving the past stems through the winter also improves hardiness.
