Solidago 'Hiddigeigei' offers multi-season interest with bright chartreuse foliage in spring as well as the usual late summer bright yellow flowers. Found as a lucky seedling and introduced by Christian Kress of Sarastro Nursery. This is a sterile cultivar, so for better or worse, you will not have it spread in your garden. The chartreuse spring foliage will last longer in temperate climates and is significantly shorter-lived in a pot.
Prefers regular summer watering.
