Viburnum x juddii adds amazing fragrance that will waft generously through your spring garden. It is a heavily blooming and fairly dense deciduous shrub. In full sun, it will make a neat dome. It is quite drought-tolerant once established, a trait that is becoming a must-have for our shrubs here in western Oregon.
Our mature plant is only 6 ft T x W, but in other situations with summer rain, the happiest of plants can be 8 ft T x 10 ft W.
Viburnum x judii is a cross between Viburnum carlesii and Viburnum bitchiuense. In appearance, it mostly takes after its carlesii parent, but it differs with a denser habit, smaller leaves, and it is usually a more prolific bloomer.
